Baxter Crane and Rigging is a 100% Employee-owned business (ESOP) serving Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We have a full range of cranes and equipment from a 26-ton boom truck to a 300 ton all-terrain, as well as forklifts, tractor trailers, and specialized rigging gear.

It is the family-like atmosphere that led our founder, Jonathan Baxter, to transition our company from privately held to an 100% employee-owned company in 2020. He understood that the past success of Baxter, Inc was due to his leadership combined with the dedication of his employees. This is why when Jon was considering retirement, he did not sell the company outright, but was determined to make Baxter, Inc employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). As employee owners, we know that our hard work has a direct impact on the stock price of Baxter, Inc with performance, innovation, quality and efficiency. Our employees personally benefit when Baxter Inc is successful. Our ESOP is a retirement plan, stock is allocated each year and grows in value as the company succeeds.

Our experienced NCCER-certified crane operators and riggers can hoist everything from precast concrete, HVAC units, cell towers, to steel erection and trusses. We pride ourselves in offering 24-hour emergency response including marine, aircraft, and a wide range of land-based recovery. Additionally, we perform all types of rigging from heavy machinery/equipment to delicate items through top floor windows and other difficult-to-reach locations. We offer the ability for our customers to shipped equipment to our facility for storage and later transport to your job site thereby eliminating your co-ordination worries.
